Get NoBuf
Free, open source under MIT. Every release is minisign-signed and ships with one-click updates.
SmartScreen may say "unknown publisher" on first run: choose More info → Run anyway. Updates themselves are signature-verified.
macOS may flag an unidentified developer on first launch: right-click → Open once and you're set.
AppImage needs no install. deb/rpm integrate with your app menu.
All assets and checksums live on the Releases page. Version numbers update automatically from GitHub.
Your first five minutes
From installer to playing a movie off your own channel.
Install & open
Run the installer. On Windows, first launch may show the SmartScreen note above. That's normal for indie apps without an EV certificate.
Let the wizard log you in
It opens my.telegram.org in a built-in window, fills the app-creation form for you, and saves your API keys locally. Then scan the QR with Telegram. Done.
You do this once. Sessions persist across restarts; logout wipes them from disk.
Build your library
Create a folder (it's a real channel behind the scenes), rename existing ones with [NB], or paste a public-channel link. Press play on anything.
