Folders are real channels
Rename any channel with [NB] and it imports itself. Reinstall tomorrow, log in, everything's back, because your library was always Telegram.
Features
Built on your existing Telegram storage. Nothing to migrate, nothing to re-upload.
Watch
The seek bar tells the truth: buffered ranges, disk cache and thumbnail coverage are separate layers.
MP4, WebM, MKV and TS play by streaming, with no download-first wait. When your browser genuinely can't decode something, NoBuf detects it and remuxes or hardware-transcodes on the fly:
| Content | What happens |
|---|---|
| H.264 / VP9 / AAC | Streams directly |
| MKV, TS containers | Remuxed live. No re-encode, instant start |
| HEVC 8-bit (if your GPU plays it) | Copied stream, zero quality loss |
| HEVC 10/12-bit, HDR | Hardware transcode (Intel QSV when available) |
| Old MP4s (metadata at end) | Virtual faststart: plays instantly, downloads nothing extra |
Heavy HEVC tiers route through a transcode step, so they may take a moment to start. Honesty over marketing.
Image-based formats (PGS, VobSub, DVB) are detected but not supported yet; text formats only.
Anime with Japanese and English tracks, films with director's commentary: pick another audio track and playback continues from the exact position. No reload, no lost seconds. Tracks are listed per file; unsupported ones are greyed out honestly.
Organize
Rename any channel with [NB] and it imports itself. Reinstall tomorrow, log in, everything's back, because your library was always Telegram.
Color-coded, drag-to-reorder folder groups. Paste any t.me link to browse a public channel as a searchable grid and forward files into your folders.
Drag files or whole folders from Explorer, paste a direct URL and NoBuf fetches it, or browse zip archives and extract single entries without downloading them whole.
Client-side search with debounce, sort by name/size/date, multi-select, virtualized grids that stay smooth past thousands of files.
Images lazy-load real thumbnails; PDFs, audio and video open in dedicated viewers. Copy a t.me link from any file's context menu.
Windows, macOS (Intel & Apple silicon), Linux. Seven built-in themes including full light mode, plus a custom theme editor.
